Leader's cave

In Poland, as well as in the world, we are facing a watershed moment - a switch from transactional to transformational leadership. Not true? Harsh truth. For several years I have been working in almost every industry and I can see it at every training or workshop. Every organization declares that it is heading towards transformational leadership. In fact, however, we are still half-stuck on the transactional level and do not know how to leave it. This is not a judgment, but a fact.

Subtraction

What do we need vacation for? To get to know something, see something, rest? To take a distance? To stop? As every year, I spent some time in the mountains, where questions are born by themselves, especially the difficult ones, and those that keep coming back to find an answer other than in the lowlands. Every time I sit down after the arduous hike and look down, the questions come - What am I doing down there? For what? What is important there and what is not?

Criticism

The words we say reveal who we are and what we think - our identity and intentions. They create a friendly, creative atmosphere and have magical power. Words hurt and destroy too.

Dreaming time

What do we need dreams for? I need them to live with my full energy, to have something to strive for, to chase them, to fall asleep putting them under my eyelids. Holidays and vacations are a great time to dream, to immerse yourself in your thoughts, allow freedom of imagination. It is a time of fresh inspiration, good, long talks and reflections, great books, addictive movies.

Potential means horns

Growth and success in the real world, in any profession, depends on the degree of individuality and differentiation. Growth is not about turning weaknesses into strengths, but about learning how to make the most of your talents, skills and competences. The most valuable employees will not be those who are totally matched with the company rigid models not those similar to each other. Our horns will be valuable! So how to bet on your uniqueness?

Trust

Trust someone, believe, have no doubts - very difficult. Lean on someone, stand on someone else's shoulders, be sure that they will not leave you in the middle of nowhere - rare. Trust that you will never be lied to - extraordinary.

Wholeness

What is it like not to pretend nor hide anything? What does it mean to be yourself? Is it possible? Sometimes I hear at workshops and in coaching: "At home, I'm nice and warm, and at work, I have to be distant, show my guard, strength, a different face". How much does this change of a costume cost us? Where do we change from one character to another? What do we need this for? And finally - is it necessary? We all have hidden particles of ourselves.

The aggressive boss

Aggressive bosses - men and women - are fighting all the time with someone or something. Often to prove their worth.
